Fitness Room
FITNESS ROOM RULES AND REGULATIONS
· The Fitness Room is open only to those residents who have signed the Release Form (waiver). If you need to sign your waiver and/or obtain your fob, please contact Roger Hunt of the Amenities Committee.
· The following are NOT permitted in the Fitness Room at any time: 1) Guests (Due to liability) 2) Family members who have not signed a waiver (Due to liability) 3) Children under the age of 18. The exception to this rule is: Children (ages 16 and 17) of residents, who are accompanied by a parent at all times, have received prior written authorization from the Amenities Committee, and have signed a Release Form. 4) Pets 5) Food
· The gym will only be open from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. (Between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., the alarm is automatically armed and cannot be disarmed.)
· Proper attire is required, i.e., leotards and tights, warm-ups, athletic pants, shorts, and shirts. Shirts are required while in the Fitness Room. Clean shoes are mandatory.
· Proper use of equipment includes: 1) Using a towel to wipe perspiration from yourself and from the equipment 2) Turning off all lights, fans and the television when departing 3) Making sure all doors are closed and cannot be opened without a Fob 4) Respect of and consideration for others
· All personal music devices used in the exercise room shall be permitted only with the use of earphones.
· Any equipment not operating properly will be immediately reported to an Amenities Committee member. You should NOT attempt to repair the equipment.
· No part of the equipment shall be removed from the Fitness Room under any circumstances.
· If another user is waiting to use a particular piece of equipment, restrict your use to 30 minutes.
· No wet bathing suits or clothing are allowed in the Fitness Room.
· The Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, Amenities Committee, or any other committee member, may expel any member for violation of any rule or regulation of the BridgeMill Neighborhood Association Fitness Room for any conduct which, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, Amenities Committee member(s), is detrimental to the welfare, good order and character of the BridgeMill Neighborhood Association.
