Pool Party guidelines
Pool Party Requirements (rev 4/20/2008)
1) Residents wishing to have a Pool Party are responsible for arranging additional lifeguards. If there are more than eight guests in one party, lifeguards must be arranged for and paid for directly by contacting Carolina Pool Management, Inc. (704-583-9700). Carolina Pool Management’s “Pool Party Request Form”, available on the website or from the pool manager, must be completed and submitted to the pool manager at least one week prior to your event.
2) The following scale shall be used to determine the number of lifeguards required at an event:
NUMBER of people scheduled to attend 9 to 24 Additional Lifeguards required 1 25 to 59 Additional Lifeguards required 2 60 to 99 Additional Lifeguards required 3 100 or more Additioanl Lifeguards required 4 Note: One additional lifeguard shall be required for any teenage party, college age party, or for any party involving alcoholic beverages.
3) A resident must accompany their guests at all times.
4) The door between the upstairs and downstairs of the clubhouse will remain locked.
5) No wet suits allowed at any time in any carpeted areas of the clubhouse.
6) Remember that the pool area as well as the lower level of the clubhouse is open to residents.
7) BridgeMill Swimming Pool Rules are in effect for all pool parties.
8) All pool parties and loud music must be over by 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 12:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. ALSO, NO SWIMMING ALLOWED AFTER DUSK!
9) The pool equipment (slide, geysers, and mushrooms) will not be in use beyond 7 p.m.from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Also, the use of pool equipment will not be allowed at any time from the pool opening date (May 1st) until Memorial Day weekend or from Labor Day until the pool closing (Sept. 30th).
10)Clubhouse tables and chairs are not permitted to be taken outside.
11)Resident agrees to provide one (1) adult chaperone for each ten (10) people at a youth, teenage or college age party. Chaperones are expected to provide constant supervision and added support to the lifeguard staff during the party. The ratio of children (ages 12 and under) to parent or other obligated adult (18 or over) will not be greater than five (5) to one (1).

The following guideline will be used to assign the appropriate number of lifeguards to your party. “Number of People” guideline is based on TOTAL PARTY ATTENDEES NOT estimated “swimmers.” Please note that one (1) additional lifeguard is required for any party involving teenagers, college-age people, or alcohol.
For the year 2009 no pool parties will scheduled for Mondays as no regular lifeguards are on duty on those days.
